Whitley Bay’s Nicholsons Butchers is giving customers even more reason to enjoy the great British banger this autumn, with a buy-two-packs-get-one-free offer to celebrate UK Sausage Week.
Running from Monday 26 October to Saturday 31 October the offer is available in-store throughout the week, giving shoppers the chance to pick up familiar favourites or try something new.
Nicholsons makes all its sausages fresh by hand on-site, offering a range of 20 flavours spanning comforting classics and bold, international combinations. Alongside Old English, Cumberland and Italian, customers can look out for varieties such as Pork, Black Pudding and Coriander, Jalapeño and Smoked Cheddar, and Greek Gyros.
It’s the perfect excuse to discover a new recipe or put a twist on a family favourite. Whether tucked into a breakfast sandwich, served with creamy mash and onion gravy or added to a simple traybake, there’s plenty of inspiration for warming autumn meals the whole family can enjoy.
Customers are encouraged to pop into the shop to see which freshly made varieties are available and discover a new favourite.
The annual UK Sausage Week campaign, backed by Meat Management magazine, celebrates the British banger and the producers who make it a much-loved staple of the nation’s kitchens. For Nicholsons, which has served generations of local families for more than a century, it is an opportunity to showcase the care and traditional skills that go into every batch of its handmade sausages.
