A CHRISTMAS KISS

A CHRISTMAS KISS

Once upon a screen… where the most romantic, heart-felt and fabulously festive smooches are found. Here are three of our favourite, Christmas kisses…

Mark and Juliet in Love Actually

A CHRISTMAS KISS

The “To Me You Are Perfect” scene in Love Actually is a much-loved favourite for the festive season. The love-triangle romance between Mark and Juliet is a far from ideal love story – yet it somehow has a special place in our heart. Mark’s romantic, silent gesture leads to a super savvy street smooch that see’s Juliet leaping out of her front door to plant a perfect peck on her Christmas love. It’s somewhat a controversial love story, but Mark’s letters of love are a clear winner.

George and Mary in It’s a Wonderful Life

A CHRISTMAS KISS

A scene of awkward nervousness – but within it, a lovely, romantic moment is born. With the phone tangled between them, the romantic energy leads to a passionate kiss as the duo soon become locked in each others arms. What’s even lovelier is that there is a super sweet back story to this oh-so-famous kissing scene – actor James Stewart was actually feeling kind of awkward about it in real life, too. After being away from the film set for several years due to the Second World War, this long, lustful kissing scene wasn’t the easiest way to get back into the game.

   FESTIVE LIP

Amanda and Graham in The Holiday

A CHRISTMAS KISS

Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and a bit of fabulously festive lip smacking– what’s not to love about this sensual scene? When Amanda Woods arrives at her holiday cottage in the English countryside, she hits it off with the homeowners dishy brother, Graham (Jude Law). The couple are soon locked in each others arms, passionately kissing in the most romantic location of all – a cosy, country cottage complete with mistletoe and a roaring fire. If we were to set the scene for an ultimate festive romance, this would be the one!
