Expect a modern twist on good old classic British dishes. Delivering the ultimate fine-dining experience in the heart of Middlesborough is 176 Bar & Kitchen. Their menu showcases the best of British small plates and light bites, all topped with a unique spin.

Think chorizo scotch egg and split pea pudding with caramelised mushrooms & soldiers and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch & vanilla ice cream, and more! And if that doesn’t tempt you to visit this new eatery, we’ve heard their espresso martinis are simply heavenly!

New Restaurants North East Dakwala

This Indian restaurant has just opened its doors in Newcastle city centre and the name Dakwala comes from the word ‘postman’, which signifies a messenger of flavours.

The restaurant’s dishes represent a culinary journey through Bombay, with each meal carrying a sprinkle of the city’s rich food heritage. Their menu offers plenty of delicious offers, from smooth and creamy Chicken Masala to Slow-Cooked Charcoal-Smoked Lamb Chops in Red Chilli Sauce, Butter, Cloves and Yoghurt. Simply delicious!

Inspired by Asian cuisine, Veganatomy has just celebrated its three-month milestone since opening. Located in the heart of Heaton, this eatery prepares a wide range of fresh, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Think sushi, poké bowls, Bento Boxes and more!

Their dishes taste just as good as they look and have already become a hidden gem amongst locals. After your delicious meal, stop by the Neighbourhood Coffee, located just a minute’s walk from Veganatomy, for a fresh brew and a sweet treat!
