Goldsmiths, one of the UK’s leading luxury watch and jewellery retailers has extensively refurbished and expanded the existing Metrocentre showroom, and created a new watch only showroom on Blackett Street
Goldsmiths Metrocentre showroom is sitting within Gateshead’s Metrocentre. It’s the North East’s ultimate shopping destination, with a mix of big-name International brands alongside high street favourites.
Goldsmiths Metrocentre is located in the lower Green Mall and features a wraparound frontage with two entrances, one directly into a large Rolex room and the other leading into the main showroom.
The dedicated Rolex room reflects the timeless and iconic Rolex style, with VIP client service areas and a central watch service bar to enable the highly trained Rolex hosts to guide clients through the watchmaking excellence and beauty of each timepiece.
In the main showroom, clients can see the best selection of timepieces in their dedicated brand areas for TAG Heuer, Breitling, TUDOR and Hublot, specifically designed to reflect the unique heritage and innovation of each brand.
Adjacent to the branded areas and interspersed between a client lounge, there are additional watch brand offerings, from Tissot and Doxa; with the introduction of two new brands to the showroom Grand Seiko and Doxa.
The new Metrocentre showroom also offers the latest luxury designer furniture to house Gucci watches and jewellery. The prestigious Italian Fashion house brings its distinctive flair, which is sitting nicely between the prestigious watch brands and high-end jewellery.
The introduction of jewellery brands Marco Bicego and Kiki Mcdonough to the Goldsmiths Metrocentre showroom is also an exciting enhancement to their branded jewellery offering, ideally timed for those keen to find the perfect gift ahead of Christmas.
Goldsmiths Newcastle Showroom
The Metrocentre showroom is also home to exquisite jewellery from Goldsmiths own diamond collections, each piece is there to suit many styles and tastes, so you are sure to find the piece perfect for you. A large back wall dedicated to branded jewellery from FOPE, Messika and Mappin & Webb spans the back of the showroom.
Furthermore, the showroom offers a dedicated service lounge, ensuring that clients can have their timepieces expertly serviced and maintained by skilled technicians. In addition, Newcastle benefits from a new showroom, located just a few doors door away from the prestigious Northern Goldsmiths showroom on Blackett Street.
The new showroom is solely focusing on luxury watches and is led by the largest OMEGA branded area within the showroom portfolio, as well as TUDOR, Zenith and Girard-Perregaux branded areas. Each with a its own window display to host the finest selection of Swiss timepieces, locals have a variety of choices.
