Nestled on the historically rich Forth Banks, Sachins’ has risen to become one of Newcastle’s most venerated culinary institutions over the last 40 years. Providing an exquisite taste of Punjab within an elegant ambience, this restaurant has garnered a special place in the hearts of diners seeking an authentic experience.
Having initially been a frequent visitor, owner, Head Chef, and our Luxe motor columnist, Kulmeet (Bob) Arora has been managing the restaurant for two decades.
It certainly is a double celebration with Sachins marking its 40-year anniversary, it’s also among the best restaurants in the world according to Travelers’ Choice 2023. Each year, they recognise diners’ favourite restaurants around the world, based on reviews and ratings collected over the last year.
