HOW IMPORTANT IS WELLBEING IN YOUR LIFESTYLE AND BUSINESS?

We live in a hurry, always thinking we’ll never be able to get everything done. Sometimes, and now more than ever, we feel like we’re lacking freedom and can often feel confined.

It’s so important to stop and take a break, get some rest, read a book, turn off your phone, put on some fresh clean bedsheets, light a candle and take time to really switch off.

Our minds need to be calm to be able to reconnect and face every new day with strength.

 

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR TOP TIPS FOR SOMEONE WHO IS FEELING EXHAUSTED OR BURNT OUT?

The first step is to acknowledge the feeling in order to be able to overcome it.

Our top tips would be getting a good night’s sleep, take your time to switch off from work and everyday issues, and set yourself healthy goals. Exercise when you can and go for a walk. Your mind is so precious and it’s important to look after it.

 

WHAT DOES YOUR NIGHTTIME ROUTINE LOOK LIKE?

For us, getting ready for bed is a super relaxing experience – and is something we definitely recommend. It’s important to switch off, take yourself away from the day and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

We start by getting cosy and indulging in green tea in the evening – this is something we love!

We confess that putting a few drops of natural lavender on your pillow before bedtime allows you to relax, soothe your mind and enjoy a well-rested sleep.

 

HOW IMPORTANT IS ROUTINE?

Routine is definitely important, it allows you an order that makes your life a healthier path to follow. But don’t get us wrong having fun and skipping it once in a while, is also part of the routine that we all need.

 

WOULD YOU SAY INVESTING IN GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS IS KEY TO A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP?

Absolutely. Your bed is your temple of rest, your secret place to recharge your battery. You don’t realise how important it is to invest in quality products for your rest until you do, and then there’s no going back!

 

YOUR GO-TO THE NEEDO PRODUCTS?

All of them! Each and every one of them is very special to us, but to get into your bed with a big satin or percale duvet is a dream.

 

HOW DOES GETTING A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP IMPACT YOUR DAY?

If you rest well and wake up relaxed your mood changes. Everything looks different when your batteries are fully charged, it changes your perspective on things and sets you up for the day ahead.

 

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO SWITCH OFF FROM DISTRACTIONS SUCH AS SOCIAL MEDIA BEFORE BED?

Playing sports close to bedtime, or endlessly scrolling through social media before going to bed, will make it harder for you to fall asleep. While social media has its perks, spending too much time on there can sometimes make you go to sleep unhappy or feeling anxious and that’s definitely not what you need before falling asleep.

The best thing is to relax and forget about the digital world for at least an hour before you go to bed. That’s what Netflix is for, a book or a good conversation.
