Well, I don’t think anyone was quite prepared for the turn of events since my last column. Life for most of us has changed beyond recognition.
One positive change, however, is the slower pace of life which, as a family, we are really appreciating. It has been a time to pause and consider – and I hope for many, this will be the start of a positive work-life balance…
The new great day glow moisturiser from NEOM with SPF 30. This lightweight natural moisturiser is packed with effective goodness, natural extracts and ingredients, balanced with the perfect amount of essential oils to minimise the appearance of pores, giving the skin a natural glow. The perfect daily sunscreen to pop in your summer handbag. £40.
I’m always on the lookout for new experiences and exciting places to visit as a family. If you haven’t already tried, you must plan a day trip to Hareshaw Linn.
Situated just outside Bellingham, you can take a magical walk through the ancient woodland, crossing six bridges, reaching a beautiful waterfall.
Take a swimsuit for a splash through the waterfalls and pack a picnic to enjoy beneath the trees. You might even spot a red squirrel, woodpecker or badger.
Like most, my lockdown wardrobe has changed rather dramatically. Comfort is first on the agenda when looking for pieces for my new casual wardrobe.
My days are spent between juggling kids, work, site visits and virtual meetings, so I need effortlessly relaxed outfits.
I’m loving the new collection from Massimo Dutti, particularly the knit trouser, jumper and overcoat combination. This will be the most worn outfit in my wardrobe over the coming months, each piece mixing with items in my wardrobe for different looks.
Try teaming a crisp white shirt with the knit trousers and sneakers for a smart casual look, tuck the jumper into mom jean for a casual weekend vibe, or dress the knit overcoat with a bodysuit and leather trousers for a dinner date.
The Lounge & Sleep Collection from Tutti & Co. PJs are possibly my favourite item of clothing; it has been a desire of mine for many years to create a range with a Tutti flair.
In a time where we have had the chance to pause and reflect, we now continue with a slower pace of life, with a thoughtfully designed collection of lounge and sleepwear to add to the vibe.
Let’s face it, it’s pretty much what we have all been wearing daily these past few months.
Available in four designs, the range draws inspiration from our natural surroundings with soft prints and hand stitched cuffs and hems. The perfect treat as we head into the cosy months. £49.
I’m currently involved in three exciting house renovations. You can follow the journey with weekly progress posts on Instagram: @kateroselifestyle.
