MY WFH REGIME: REBECCA DALE

I GET UP ON A MORNING FOR…

Meditation, it’s the best way to start my day!

BREAKFAST IS…

It’s either porridge with banana and peanut butter or eggs on toast.

MY DESK SET-UP INCLUDES…

A brew, of course!

LUNCHTIME BRINGS…

Time outside in the garden with my housemates (AKA, Mum and Dad)! I’m so grateful to have a garden during these times, particularly when the weather has been so beautiful.

TO BREAK AWAY FROM MY HOME OFFICE…

Go for a walk with the dog siblings and enjoy a bit of nature.

WHEN 5 O’CLOCK HITS…

I log on to a virtual yoga class and enjoy being a ‘yoga student’ for a change.

I’M WATCHING…

My YouTube classes. I’m learning all of the time from having to adjust to lockdown life and watching my classes back helps me to work out what works and what doesn’t.

I’M READING…

Bedtime Stories For Stressed Out Adults by Lucy Mangan… a really great book, and it makes for the perfect lockdown read!

I’M LISTENING TO…

A Yoga & Meditation playlist or Spotify & Chill, depending on what kind of vibe I’m feeling.

3 TOP TIPS FOR STAYING AT HOME…

1. Try and make a routine for yourself; just a couple of things that you do as soon as you start your day.

2. Make a commitment to yourself each day to get one thing done. Don’t bombard yourself with a million tasks, just one thing is enough.

3. Get outside whenever you can. Take walks and move everyday in some way.

As someone who always wants to have everything done yesterday, and under these circumstances when things are seemingly ‘on hold’, my lockdown quote has been:

“You are exactly where you are meant to be.”
