Spring is the perfect time to to spruce up your home – new trends, new colour schemes, new decor.
Our friends at BoConcept have provided us with a sneak peek into their SS20 collection and we are loving the soft neutrals theme – giving designs and spaces a warm and natural aesthetic.
The expression BoConcept curated for Scandi-lovers exchanges the traditional Nordic base of white and near-whites for warmer, creamier hues. Adding in a splash of colour brings a touch of vibrancy and makes for the perfect accompaniment to blonde oak, light ceramics and the industrial accent of cement; with a nod to ‘Japandi’ style – Scandi with Japanese aesthetics with the ‘Fusion’ collection.
Grey furnishings and wooden surfaces are currently dominating the look, creating sleek, effortless spaces; while black accents add a bold statement to the home. Don’t be afraid to play around with colour and fabrics – dark materials are great, too. Tones of blue, green, and lots of caramels shades will brighten up and compliment the darker tones.
Materials such as light oak, wool and marble are all on-going trends which can also be found in the ‘Fusion’ collection; as well as soft velvet and natural linen textures, with hints of brass and toned mirrors to bring a warm spark and pop of excitement.
And finally… invest in some greenery – adding house plants will bring a breath of freshness to the home.
Craftsmanship is found in the design of furniture, underlining the Nordic influence and the mix of Scandinavian and Japanese traditions.
Your house is your home, so make it something you love!
