Durham Brass Festival is back for 2019 with 10 days of outstanding performances from 12th – 21st July. Expect to hear Mr Wilson’s Second Liners in a top secret location on Friday 12th July, before the festival continues with must-see performances across County Durham. Kynren brings the history of England back to life with a multi award-winning live action outdoor theatre spectacular. Each of the 29 dramatic scenes are emphasised by an original soundtrack by composer Nathan Stornetta. With 8,000 spectators expected to attend, Kynren promises a thrilling family-friendly journey through the ages. Presented by Eleven Arches on a seven-and-a-half-acre stage in Bishop Auckland, 1,000 cast and crew deliver an unmissable show. The likes of King Arthur, Queen Elizabeth I, Shakespeare and Queen Victoria among other historic figures all unite to tell a 2,000-year tale of the history of England.
