Luxe people >>

My friends, family and fiancé, Callum. All of whom have been around me for a long time. Very special people and lots of special memories. Oh and of course my luxe pooch, Alfie the gorgeous golden retriever – check out his luxe column!

Luxe places >>

For a weekend > The beautiful fishing village of Salema in the Algarve. A place we’ve visited as a family since I was young. Golden beaches, crashing waves and to-die-for seafood. Watching the world go by with a Hugo cocktail in hand.

A long holiday > A US road trip – maybe with surfboard along the West Coat.

A treat > A foodie-fuelled city break. London or Liverpool for a staycation, Barcelona for a European escapade or NYC for a long haul treat.

Luxe relax >>

Best food > I’m a sucker for pizza – or anything cheesy, in fact.

Best wine > A cool, crisp sauvignon blanc on a hot summer’s day – or cosying up with a bottle of malbec by the fire in the winter.

Favourite restaurant > Mira Mar – a quirky little seafood shack on the beach in Salema. Bring me a bowl of black linguine and a bottle of wine and I’m set for the day.

Perfect weekend > Friday night wine with the girls. Saturday morning brunch at The Joiner’s Shop in Ingleby Arncliffe, followed by a stroll in the hills with Callum and Alfie. A super Sunday is a trip to the football followed by heaps of Yorkshire puds!

Downtime means > Most recently, Thursday night yoga with Andrea at A Yoga in Stokesley. A perfect bit of pre-weekend wind down.

Best telly > Flick on a crime drama and I’m not moving from the sofa. Loving the rather dishy Omari Hardwick in Power on Netflix at the moment.

Best book > I’m currently reading a book called The Art of Noticing by Rob Walker. An inspiring guide to rediscovering what’s important in life.

Best sounds > My music taste ranges from Miley Cyrus to Mumford and Sons and Marvin Gaye. Anything goes if I can sing or dance along to it. If I had to pick a favourite though, it’d be the Lighthouse Family. Who doesn’t love a bit of windows down, hair blowing in the breeze sunshine music?

Luxe shop >>

Best shopping city > Nothing beats London – Carnaby Street and Sloane Square are personal faves. Although I do love an American shopping mall. I’d get lost in Bloomingdales any day!

Favourite shop > I love a department store, although I won’t lie – my wardrobe is overflowing with Zara goodies.

Luxe retail treat > A scent that triggers special memories. For me it’s Byredo’s Gypsy Water – lush!

Best buy > I don’t go anywhere without my super cosy UGG slippers. It’s my go-to gift so I’ve also got my friends and family hooked.

Luxe party >>

A memorable night out > My 24th birthday – doubled up as a surprise engagement celebration with all of my best pals in a party pad in the countryside. Friends, fizz and forever memories.

Perfect party > A dinner party with friends and family – fuelled by wine, cheese and a good quiz. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for a table game.

Best dress > My wedding dress – which I’ve had to hide at my mum’s as I can’t stop trying it on!

Dinner date > Rosie Ramsey, Lewis Capaldi and Lauren Conrad are among my ideal dinner party guests, but Callum gets my invite every time.
