We attend a flavour-packed Life Kitchen cookery class at Blackfriars Cookery School...

We go behind the scenes at one of Ryan Riley’s free Life Kitchen cookery classes, hosted at Blackfriars Cookery School in Newcastle.

Originally from Sunderland, Ryan set up Life Kitchen in memory of his beloved mother, who passed away from cancer five years ago.

The fun and relaxed classes, aimed at food-lovers suffering and recovering from the effects of cancer treatment, focus on flavour-packed, easy-to-make dishes to wake up the tastebuds.

Venue: Blackfriars Restaurant
Videography: Nathan Clark
