Celebrating NE1’s first Newcastle Restaurant Week for 2019, we’ve teamed up with Smooth Radio to bring you fabulous foodie prizes kicking off next week. Situated on Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside, Dobson & Parnell offers an exciting casual fine-dine menu which has earned it a coveted place in The Michelin Guide. The restaurant was named after the architects who designed the building, and the interior combines Victorian elegance with old-school glamour.
On the NE1 Restaurant Week menu you’ll find dishes including rare-breed pork terrine, apple and raisin chutney and crackling, baked heirloom carrots, creamy ricotta and spiced cashews, pan-fried black cod, roast chicken, braised chicory and bok choi, Chocolate mousse, coffee syrup, candied walnuts and Yorkshire rhubarb pavlova and orange mascarpone.
Chef-patron Troy Terrington, formerly head chef of Dobson & Parnell’s sister restaurant Blackfriars, is one of a new cohort of talented young chefs in the area.
