The people who help me get to my gigs, I’d be lost without them! I might be the one making people laugh, but they get me to where I need to be. So thanks to Charlene, Curt, Ricia and, of course, my mam and dad.

Luxe places >>

For a weekend > Glasgow. I just love the place. It reminds me a lot of Newcastle. Everyone is just so friendly and the city has a great atmosphere. It has an amazing comedy scene too.

A long holiday > New York. I went a few years ago and fell in love with the place. I can’t wait to go back.

A treat > Anywhere in Ireland. I just love the accent.

Luxe relax >>

Best food > Lasagne. It’s my go to food when there’s nothing else I like.

Best wine > I walk badly enough as it is without drinking.

Favourite restaurant > Is Patisserie Valerie a restaurant?

Perfect weekend > A weekend working at my favourite comedy club, The Stand in Newcastle.

Downtime means > Switching off from the world and watching Netflix in my pants.

Best telly > I still adore the League of Gentlemen, even after all these years. It’s delightfully dark and twisted. That probably explains my weird sense of humour.

Best book > Mine, obviously. ‘I’m Only In It For The Parking’ is out in May this year!

Best sounds > My music taste is pretty much stuck in the 90s. So stuff like Ash, Manic Street Preachers, Oasis, Blur etc. I’m very much an indie guy.

Luxe shop >>

Best shopping city > Newcastle because you don’t have to bother with finding a parking space.

Favourite shop > The Apple Store for obvious reasons. It’s where I got my voice.

Luxe retail treat >>

Best buy > Definitely my Mac.

Luxe party >>

A memorable night out > I once went out in Liverpool, fell over and split my head open right next to the statue of John Lennon. That was pretty memorable.

Perfect party > Any party with an 11pm curfew, I’m getting too old!

Best dress > The one I wear on Tuesdays.

Dinner date > Eating cake with my best mates and making an absolute mess.
