Aladdin is given a festive twist on stage at Darlington Hippodrome. Take them to see this year’s panto show this weekend, starring the hilarious Louis Spence, and lose yourself in the naughtiness, slapstick antics and Christmassy magic.

Stop by Sunderland’s Winter Garden Market to pick up extra special festive treats. We’re thinking Christmassy cheese and chutney duos, local bread, meats and veg, plus plenty of seasonal sweet stuff.
Treat yourselves to a spot of Festive Afternoon Tea at The Vermont Hotel. Relax in the luxury lounge or intimate Redwood Bar by the fire, tucking in to spiced scones, sandwiches with festive fillings and mini Christmas desserts.
