LITTLE DEVIL’S AFTERNOON TEA & HALLOWEEN TRAIL
Halloween hotdogs, scary slime and devilish doughnuts are on the menu at Rockliffe Hall this October half term, as the hotel introduces its spooktacularly-tasty Little Devil’s Afternoon Tea served in The Old Hall. The creepy fun doesn’t stop there… join a Halloween Trail around the resort’s new Mischmasch gardens – a whimsical wonderland for brave tots. On this quest, little ones will creep through the forbidden forest, enter the witches’ lair, sneak through Surtees’ scarefest, find Pilmore’s pumpkin and stir the cursed chef’s cauldron. What a way to enjoy autumn in the North East as the school bell rings for October half term. The Little Devils’ Afternoon Tea is available between 1pm – 3pm from 19 October – 4 November. The Halloween Trail will run between 2pm and 6pm.

Got more treats than you know what to do with in your trick or treat stash? Pop down to Ouseburn Farm this October half term and transform your choccies and sweets into delicious rocky roads. Halloween never tasted so good! Thursday 1 November.
WIZARDING FAMILY FUN
Calling all witches and wizards… join the team at intu Metrocentre for a host of spellbinding activities this October half term. So what’s in store? Try your hand at wand making, take part in a broom-training class, or have your photograph taken flying high above intu Metrocentre with the help of a little bit of green screen magic. Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October.
WALLACE & GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT
Get your film fix this half term at Tyneside Cinema, with a must-see screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Join the duo on their big screen adventure as they hunt down the mysterious and terrifying Were-Rabbit. Saturday 27 October and Wednesday 31 October.
THE IVY HARROGATE
Halloween is in full swing at The Ivy Harrogate this year, complete with cobwebs, skulls, spiders and frighteningly good food. From 24 until 31 October, ghostly goings-on include devilish decor and a limited edition food and cocktail menu. Priced at £40 per person for three courses, guests will be invited to choose from a series of delicious dishes including Grave-lax and blood orange (cured salmon with a bloody orange dressing), roasted pumpkin (whole mini pumpkin with Freekeh, coriander and red pepper sauce), steak through the heart (seared rare tuna steak, crispy artichoke heart, black garlic sauce, pomegranate and smoked aubergine) and a tantalising chocolate skull dessert (salted caramel chocolate pudding, golden popping candy and honeycomb, served alongside vanilla ice cream). What a treat for the whole family this October half term.
