Fenwick Newcastle is set to showcase the North’s flag-waving food and drink this summer, hosting a series of bespoke events in celebration of Great Exhibition of the North. Head there from 6pm – 10pm on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July for the Fenwick Food Hall Night Market, where you’ll be spoilt with gin, wine, champagne, craft beer and more from local pop-up bars, alongside tempting tasters and foodie must-haves from a selection of food stalls.

Kynren is the epic tale of England, performed by a cast and crew of 1,000 in the grand grounds of Auckland Castle, Bishop Auckland. The world-class show is back this summer, taking audiences on a breathtaking journey through 2,000 years of history, myth and legend. The production is brought o life through stunning sets, combat, stunts, horsemanship, pyrotechnics and special effects, all set to a thrilling original soundtrack. Our friends at Smooth Radio will be on hand before the performance, giving audiences the chance to see what they’d look like in the show, with a face-in-the-hole image, perfect for social sharing! Smooth will also be playing top tunes as people walk in for an evening of Kynren entertainment.
