Luxe people >>

My family and friends, a collective of some of the most inspirational people I know. My TICE mentors, an entrepreneurial creative bunch of simply lovely, passionate and motivational individuals.

Luxe places >>

For a weekend > Paris, visiting friends, shopping and eating at Nos Ancetres les Gaulois on the Ile Saint-Louis. It’s a great experience.

A long holiday > I love to travel and love to go to new places. So, not a beach holiday person at all. My ideal holiday would be spending a week or two in a city, suburb or province, learning about the culture, sampling great food, then onto the next…with Christmas bauble in hand (see favourite shop).

A treat > An extraordinary dining experience.

Luxe relax >>

Best food > My Dad’s seafood pasta – legendary.

Best wine > Bear with me, finding the best wine can take years so I’m dedicating time, money and energy on this research.

Favourite restaurant > Bouchon, Hexham. Gorgeous owners and fabulous food.

Perfect weekend > Christmas is my favourite time of year so I tend to dedicate an entire weekend to decorating the biggest tree I can find. It’s a ritual in the house whereby the annual movies are brought out, nice wine is opened, raclette ready on the table. It’s perfect.

Downtime means > Woodburner on, a large glass of red, our ‘picky bits’ and a film that my husband pretends to enjoy.

Best telly > Vikings, I like Outlander, Game of Thrones. Gutted that Downton Abbey ended and still upset with the ending of Merlin! (yes, I realise it’s been years).

Luxe shop >>

Best shopping city > New York City, especially when that coincides with Restaurant Week!

Favourite shop > Christmas shops! I seek them out in any city I go to and get transported to the beautiful theme of Christmas. No matter where I go I manage to find a Christmas bauble as a souvenir. Our tree is therefore an eclectic mix of our travels.

Luxe retail treat > Always a good bag, good shoes… who am I kidding, seasonal shopping sprees in general!

Best buy > Recently my woodburner, the height of cosiness.

Luxe party >>

A memorable night out > Our TICE Final Show, each and every year we celebrate the achievements of young people who’ve achieved industry led projects in creative and digital fields. It’s incredible to see what they accomplish and a fantastic celebration for the students, schools, industry and educational supporters and of course the TICE team. Inspiration right there.

Perfect party > Family and friends and generally big get togethers.

Best dress > Sounds cheesy (but I love cheese so who cares) – my wedding dress, not only for the day but some amazing friends helped me design it and made it, it was truly bespoke and beautiful. It carries some very special memories in more ways than one.

Dinner date > My husband he’s pretty to look at and the conversation isn’t that bad.
