Head to the riverbanks this Saturday and Sunday for the return of the Durham Regatta, which promises a thrilling weekend of racing and entertainment. Last year 10,000 spectators and over 1,400 competitors experienced the event’s magic, set against the stunning backdrop of what is now a World Heritage Site, and this year’s event is set to be even bigger and better. Think live entertainment from local bands and performers, along with a tasty selection of food stalls to browse.
