The show follows two crafty robbers on a quest to steal a farmer’s fine prize cow, until one tiny ladybird jumps in to save the day. With live music, puppetry, plenty of audience participation and lots of laughs, expect a whole farmyard of fun.
Sunday marks Morpeth Fair Day and kids are promised tons of fun stuff all afternoon, from pony rides and climbing wall thrills, to rides and carousels, orienteering, live entertainment and fun runs. Grab street food bites for lunch and don’t miss the classic car parade.
Shop snacky stalls and pick up brunch musts at the Northern Dales Farmers’ Market at Preston Park Museum & Grounds on Sunday. Over 70 local producers will be there showing off their stuff – stop by, say hello and get sampling!
Inspired by World Gin Day on Saturday, the folk at Crook Hall, Durham, will be spoiling guests with gin-themed Afternoon Tea this weekend. Mini feasts include gin-flavoured scones with jam and cream, gin-infused cakes, gin truffles and a choice of four North East gins.
