Still swooning over Meghan and Harry's big day? Check out this wonderful white wedding party at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel.

If you’re still feeling a bit giddy from the weekend’s wedding overload, here’s the best reason ever to dig out a big white frock and party like it’s Meg and Harry’s big bash.

Mr and Mrs Clooney may not be part of this party but there will nevertheless be glamour overload.

It’s a Charity Wedding Ball with dress the code – you guessed it – bridal gowns or anything pink, at Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, Newcastle.

It’s been arranged by the charity cheerleaders the Gosforth Girls, a cycling group who raise funds for ovarian and breast cancer charities.

The ‘girls’ are made up of female professionals in the North-East working in the medical and academic fields with a passion for cycling.

They will be undertaking a long distance cycling ride called Women V Cancer in September to raise money for three different women’s charities – Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action.

The Charity Wedding Ball will be held on Saturday 16 June 2018. Tickets £45pp. Book via[email protected]
