Kate Fearnley’s 2018 bridal and prom collection is all about glamour and style. Named ‘Wonderland’, the bridal collection is about embracing a fantastical world with enchanting creations and a sense of whimsical wonder. The collection highlights the beauty of nature with a fairytale twist. Expect lovely floral embellishments combined with floaty skirts and glitzy bodices.
The prom collection for 2018 looks at Hollywood glamour with an emphasis on an atelier finish. Think lace, tassels, layers and sparkling elements. With a good mix of bold colours and pretty pastels, there’s something to suit all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a dainty number, an elegant tight-fitted garment or a beachy, floaty gown, this collection covers all styles when it comes to the fit, style and cut of the dress.
Luxe lapped up the luxury and swooned over the stunning new collection at Acklam Hall to get a sneak peek of what’s to come for 2018. Held in the breathtaking Grand Hall on the first floor of this newly renovated Grade I listed building in Acklam, Middlesbrough, it’s the perfect setting for a wedding showcase with its classic elegance, its original features and 17th century character combined with contemporary features and cool quirks.
Acklam Hall has been running as an exclusive venue for weddings, fine dining, prestigious office accommodation and conference facilities since February 2016 and it’s putting Middlesbrough on the map, raising the steaks for sophisticated dining and luxury living on Teesside. It has undergone a stylish and tasteful renovation to emerge from former school to a far more appropriate role as a contemporary bistro and restaurant.
The historic architectural detail of this place should be seen to be believed. Subtle whites, greys and blacks have transformed the walls and on-trend furnishings and well thought out fittings bring the rooms to the present day while letting the original features shine through. It’s lovely to see a nod to scholarly history with old school photos, desks and memorabilia.
Acklam Hall was the grand venue for Kate Fearnley’s runway event this autumn, showcasing fun, floral wedding gowns and statement prom dresses for the 2018 season. The catwalk show was partnered by Bakers Tailoring, showcasing their latest in groomsmen and prom attire, make-up by award-winning make-up artist Anna Cordelia Mason, hair by Watkins Wright, wedding stationary and styling by Ruby Shoes Wedding and floristry by Sweet William Floral Design.
A showcase setting the stage for what is set to be a stunning season when it comes to prom and bridal wear. What is so great about Kate Fearnley is that you can pick aspects of every design you love, creating a bespoke gown unique to the individual. You’ll wear it knowing it’s oh-so you!
