FOR FAMILY…

14 – 17 SEPTEMBER

WHAT'S ON THIS WEEK

The annual Agricultural Show returns to Beamish Museum this week, recreating a typical country show from the early 1900s. Celebrating the rural heritage of the North East, you’ll find everything from vulture flying demonstrations and cavalry displays to brass band performances and sheep shearing lessons. Little ones can look forward to Punch and Judy shows and archery sessions; while parents can browse the local produce stalls and pick up a real ale or two in the beer tent. It’s a great day out for the whole family – pop along from Thursday – Sunday.
