Enjoy sky-high seaside views at one of Alnmouth's dreamiest penthouse apartments...
You can’t beat sky-high views – and the ones offered by South View Penthouse Apartment, found in dreamy Alnmouth, are nothing short of superb. And oh-so serene.
The luxury, south-facing apartment, which lies just five miles away from Alnwick and 30 minutes from breezy Seahouses, overlooks the Aln estuary – and is only a short walk from the beach. It’s a spacious find, fit for up to six people, decked out with three-ensuite bedrooms, a large open-plan living area and private balcony, offering panoramic sea views.
We’re in love with the rustic, boardwalk-style exposed beams and Italian-designed kitchen, fully equipped with modern, integrated appliances. Expect to find nifty extras that bump up the luxe factor, too, such as a central electrical control touchscreen that regulates the lighting, heating, air-conditioning and sound system for the whole apartment.  Each room has separate individual controls, too, so you can alter each room manually and there are individual remote controls to open and close the blinds and windows.
To the front of the property are large bi-folding doors opening out on to the private balcony, where serenity can be found. Relax on the wooden lounge-style furniture with your morning coffee and enjoy the 180-degree views of the estuary.
Indoors, you’re free to get cosy on the large leather sofas, found in the living room, which is always flooded with natural light, catch up on Sky TV via a giant flatscreen, or rustle up treats in the state-of-the-art kitchen, which is also home to a separate (and large) wine fridge. Time to get stocking!
