Head to Hollymoor - a grand barn conversion - for private time, foodie treats and blissed-out boudoirs...

Perfectly located between the Yorkshire Moors and Dales close to both Richmond and Durham, Hollymoor House is a stunning, architecturally-designed barn conversion, set in seven acres overlooking a private lake and extensive lawns.

Rebuilt over the last five years by its owners, the house boasts four tastefully-appointed ensuite bedrooms, along with a stunning designer kitchen.

Designed so as to create a relaxing light and airy space for guests to chill out, all bedrooms offer comfort and style in abundance. Each room features tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, along with sumptuous White Company bedding and toiletries.

The luxuriously appointed ensuite bathrooms featuring walk-in showers, have all been designed using tiles from the famous Spanish company, Porcelanosa. Every room boasts beautiful views over the extensive lawns and lake, a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

With its fantastic central location, Hollymoor House is close to a number of local attractions, including Richmond Castle, Croft Circuit and The Bowes Museum. For guests who enjoy walking or cycling in the great outdoors, the vast and beautiful landscapes found in the Yorkshire Dales and Weardale National Parks, are both just a short drive away. There are also easy links to the A1 and mainline train station.

Rooms are available on a B&B basis, but you can easily enhance your stay by adding afternoon tea on arrival, an evening meal or even a picnic. Bespoke stays for groups of up to eight guests can be centred around food and exploring the diverse Yorkshire Countryside, with stays being tailored to individual needs. Whether you want to explore the countryside, visit Boncoeur Fine Wines or Durham Cathedral to name just a few, the choices are endless and your hosts will take the strain and organise everything.

In addition to four en-suite bedrooms, Hollymoor House features a stunning vaulted dining and sitting room complete with a raised hearth and wood stove. Here, you can indulge yourself in canapés while enjoying a tipple from the fully licensed bar, followed by a delicious evening meal.

The designer kitchen has to be the real centrepiece of the property; a true ‘show-stopping, state-of-the-art, ‘no equipment spared’ area where guests are made mouthwatering meals by one of the house’s owners and chefs.

Guests with a keen interest in cooking can choose to enjoy an afternoon here with them and explore their culinary skills in a relaxed and informal environment. Those needing to walk off the effects afterwards, can do so in the extensive lawns overlooking the lake, the perfect place to relax especially in the evenings.
