This week is Great War Week at Alnwick Castle. Round up the family and take yourselves on an educational journey of what life was really like during the First World War. You’ll travel back to 1914, you’ll get the chance to meet a Dispatch Rider and you’ll learn about all the obstacles that people had to overcome to deliver important messages during the times of war. Join the soldiers on the lawn and inspect their uniforms – it all feels so real this week at Alnwick Castle.
