Chapters Deli, Stokesley
Setting: Chapters Deli is a sophisticated spot sitting in the heart of Stokesley Market Place. It’s a haven for wine-drinkers, cocktail-lovers and foodies alike. The interiors are cool and contemporary, as is the refreshing cocktail menu.
Sipping: Serving everything from a cool cosmo to a mouth-watering margarita, everything about this place is classy and the classic cocktails are on fine form.
Specials: All the hours are happy when in the deli – but swing by during the daily happy hour and you’ll be smiling from ear to ear with 241 tasty cocktails in hand.
Poetic Licence, Sunderland
Setting: Looking like it’s stepped straight out of Shoreditch, this distillery bar within the Roker Hotel is a crafty spot situated on the beautiful Sunderland coastline. Its ethos: break tradition and be bold. Bold it is, and we love it!
Sipping: Something special for summer – try the Picnic Gin. It brings together flavours of strawberries and cream.
Specials: Poetic License uses its own gin to creative cocktail concoctions for all tipple tastes. All of their spectacular spirits are available to buy from the Roker Hotel reception.
George’s Great British Kitchen, Newcastle
Setting: From the bustling beach huts to the generous gin bar, what’s not to love about George’s Great British Kitchen? It’s quintessentially British, it’s cool, it’s colourful and it feels like summer all year round here.
Sipping: For those with a sweet tooth… George’s Great British Kitchen have recently launched their sweet shop inspired cocktail list including nostalgic flavours like FAB and parma violet – taking us back to our childhood, sweet-scoffing days.
Specials: George’s gorgeous sweet shop inspired cocktails are served every day between 2pm – 8pm – so there’s plenty of time for some sweet-loving fun.
