Back by popular demand, Billingham Forum Theatre presents Someone Like You – The Adele Songbook this Friday. The show celebrates one of our generations best-loved singer- songwriters. Hand-picked by Adele herself on Graham Norton’s BBC ADELE Special, Katie Markham has the show-stopping voice and captivating charisma to deliver all your favourite Adele hits in an enthralling concert performance. The show recreates the magic of the three record-breaking albums 19, 21 and 25 – including hit songs such as Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel My Love, Set Fire To The Rain and Someone Like You.

Colourama is back in the North East this Saturday. The family-fun event promises to be bigger and better than ever – packed full of colourful challenges, obstacles and a rainbow of powdered paint. St Cuthbert’s Hospice invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to join in on this fabulously fun charity event. Colourama will see participants make their way around the 5k course at St Leonards Playing Field, Durham. Get colourful for a good cause this week – it’s one for the whole family!

A Spanish tango dance party arrives in Newcastle this week! Get ready to let loose and throw some seriously sexy shapes at Milonga, choreographed by internationally celebrated choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (who also choreographed Beyoncé’s Grammy performance). Inspired by the late night milonga scene held in the intimate bars of Buenos Aires, the fabulous dance routines in this production draw on traditional influences with a cool, contemporary twist. The result is a sassy, seductive and fascinating exploration 21st century tango. Catch this Argentinean phenomenon at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal this Friday and Saturday – and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
