LILLIAN DAPH

LILLIAN DAPH DESIGNER FLOWERS

The creative collaborators at LillianDaph are up to exciting things once again. After growing from strength to strength since opening in October, the creative relationship between owner of interior store LillianDaph, Christina & Florist Jenni Di’Niro really is flourishing.

Christina says:

“We are continuously pushing boundaries to help us become a ‘destination’ for interior lovers. We import handmade fragrances from California, constantly source unusual brands that aren’t commonly seen on the market and obsessively merchandise the store so that each time you visit you enjoy a unique experience with something new to touch, smell and see.”

This is really at the height of what the team are trying to do.

It’s not just Christina that is pushing boundaries to offer a unique experience. In-store florist, Jen has recently sourced every single one of her blooms and foliage from local flower grower, Picked at Dawn in Thirsk.

“Just like the path Christina is forging with interiors, the produce and quality of seasonal florals I aim to offer in store is not such common concept with florists in our area. The plan is to support other local businesses who share my passion and knowledge in beautiful local grown blooms, and as a result axe out as many of flower wholesalers acting as middle-men as is physically possible.”

The inspiring pair are now working on their latest venture that sees the collaboration of interiors and flowers at its utmost; designer faux flowers curated in store by Jen.

Famous designer and leading interior guru Abigail Ahern is making a name for her range of luxury faux flowers that claim to be ‘the most beautifully realistic blooms you’ll find anywhere’.

Available in the designers own London store, as well as Heals and Selfridges, Christina and Jen are super excited to announce these ground breaking faux flowers can now be found in Saltburn’s own interior store, LillianDaph.

Christina says:

“It’s exciting to know that we can bring to our area what these design led London stores offer. We believe that the north deserves exciting design just as much as the cities in the south do. Working with the designer faux, Jen will use her talent to create bespoke hand-ties, only available in LillianDaph.”

Jen adds:

“We plan to curate the faux flowers in our signature style, so the award winning faux flowers will be available to buy as beautiful ready made bouquets or as single stems.”

The arrival of the designer stems will be marked with the installation of a new ‘faux bar’ at the front of the store, where the new blooms will be displayed making it fun for you to pick your favourites or see a ready made bouquet in situ.

LILLIAN DAPHThe current offering of fresh flowers at the back of the store will also be expanded later in the summer. Jen plans to tie in fresh flowers with the new ‘faux flower bar’ by creating a ‘fresh flower bar’, again where customers will be able to get creative with her ‘pick & mix’ and ‘wrap your own’ concepts.

“We’re constantly looking at ways to make your time in LillianDaph as memorable and enjoyable as possible; it’s never just about buying a product,” says Christina.

To celebrate the launch of these designer flowers and new in store ‘faux flower bar’ Christina and Jen invite you to join them on Saturday 27th May for a first look.

“We’ll be serving up fruity summer Pimms and doses of flowery inspiration from 10am. Guests can look forward to an abundance of blooming blush roses, plum peonies and fuchsia Chrysanthemums.”
