NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY SHOW

There’s something for everyone at the annul Northumberland County Show at Bywell Hall near Stocksfield. There’s a fun-packed schedule of events and activities including bake-off classes and tug of war competitions. But the canine highlight of the day is the Kennel Club dog show – always one of the most popular events during the show. Your pooch will get chance to impress the judges with the agility displays.
GREAT NORTH DOG WALK
4 JUNE
See the seaside sights and exercise your pooch at The Great North Dog Walk this June. A three mile route will take walkers and their four-legged friends along the cliffs of South Shields. There are four different routes of varying lengths to cater for everyone, this allows for baby buggies, wheelchairs, the young and the elderly. The event currently hold the world record as the larges dog walk ever held, bringing together 22,742 dogs, represented by 169 breeds – to take your pooch and their pals for a perfect coastal walk this June.

The North East Dog Festival will be setting the stage for a doggy extravaganza like you’ve never seen before this September! With an exciting schedule packed with dog-friendly activities, main ring displays and shopping for us humans, there’s sure to be something to entertain the whole family. The venue provides woodland walks, ample space and lots of opportunities for everyone to enjoy a great, family day out with their pooch.
