Chic North Yorkshire campsite, Serenity Camping, is home to what could be the sweetest, chicest shed we ever did see – the perfect hideout for little weekend adventures with the other half, your best mate, or even just the pooch.
Set within North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the site has five acres of large and spacious grass pitches, all with lovely views of the moors and beyond, where groups can also visit for a spot of glamping.
The Potting Shed is one of the site’s two self-catering spots – the other being a traditional stone barn cottage for up to five people. Furnished in cute ‘cottage garden’ style, it’s equipped with a double bedroom, complete with chest of drawers, a mirror, TV and plenty of glossies to leaf through.
The kitchen/diner is fitted with a two-ring gas stove, fridge, sink (providing cold water), kettle, coffee table and all the basic crockery you’d need for a weekend break – stylish cutlery, glasses, cups and pans. There’s even a small sofa bed in there for a cheeky extra camper.
The Potting Shed is pooch-friendly, with an enclosed private garden perfect for them to roll about in while you fire up the BBQ or settle down around the table with a glass of red.
Although the shed doesn’t have its own toilet or washroom facilities, it’s just metres away from the communal washroom building. Bedding is provided as standard and you can opt to hire the bed linen and towel bundle so your bolthole is beautifully made up and ready for your arrival.
