To celebrate the start of NE1 Restaurant Week, we’ve teamed up with Smooth Radio to bring you a fabulous foodie evening at Newcastle’s best-loved Punjabi restaurant, Sachins.
The lucky winner will be treated to a luxe evening on Tuesday 17th January – kicking off with arrival drinks, followed by a fabulous two course meal and live music.
Located on the historic Forth Banks of Newcastle, Sachins finest Punjabi cuisine has become a local favourite since opening over 30 years ago. Current owners Kulmeet (Bob) and Neeta Arora were regular diners before taking over the restaurant in 2000. Quickly going from a big part of their lives to being the centre of their lives, Bob and Neeta put their heart and soul (and continue to do so to this day) into turning the already bustling restaurant into a cut above the rest.
The ambient, atmospheric interior makes Sachins the perfect sport to drink, dine and unwind after a long day at work, to celebrate a special occasion or even just for a meal with a difference. You can be assured of a friendly welcome every time.
