Friday night – gladrags or sofa?
A night on the sofa with one of my favourite films, Goodfellas, and a nice glass of Pinot Noir.
A super Saturday?
An early morning bike ride up the Tyne Valley, followed by breakfast with the family at Ernest in Ouseburn, Newcastle. I’d then catch Newcastle United winning (hopefully) at St James’ Park, before enjoying dinner at Caffe Vivo on the Quayside with my wife, Jo.
We can whisk you away for two dream days. Where would you go?
The F1 in Monaco followed by a quick flight over to Ibiza for a night at one of the island’s oldest and most glamorous clubs, Pacha.
Memorable mini-break?
Barcelona, for its incredible culture, architecture and amazing markets and restaurants.
Sunday best?
A lazy morning reading the newspapers, Sunday roast lunch with the family at the Rat Inn in Anick near Hexham, and a leisurely walk along the River Tyne at Corbridge. Bliss.
