A simply magnificent concert arrives in Newcastle this November. Celebrating their classic album Stars, Simply Red will take on the Metro Radio Arena in what promises to be a fresh and exciting gig, as special as it was back in 1991. The first half of this show will feature the entire Stars album in its original running order, while the second half will feature hits and classic Simply Red songs that will have audiences toe tapping their way throughout this musical spectacle.

Be enchanted by Christmas at Beamish this winter, where visitors can discover the amazing sights, sounds and delicious tastes of truly traditional festive celebrations. Combining history and festive fun, you’ll step back into Christmas past, joining the celebrations as you explore the 1820s Pockerley Old Hall, the 1900s Town and Pit Village and the 1940s Farm. From ice skating and traditional market stalls, to steam train rides and Santa’s grotto Christmas at Beamish is the perfect festive day for all of the family to enjoy. You might even get chance to feed the reindeer.

A Christmas Murder Mystery Evening in the stunning setting of Crathorne Hall and with a dazzling roarin’ 20s theme. With flapper dresses and feather bowers in full swing, it’s time to decide who’s guilty of the devilish deed. Listen out for clues, and put your investigating skills to the test. The event is in aid of Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough.

Cinderella is packed with family-friendly comedy, special effects, dazzling costumes and the most magical pantomime moment to date as the star of the show is whisked off to the ball in the company of Prince Charming.
