Friday night – gladrags or sofa?
The older I get, the more the sofa becomes more and more comfortable! Although if I get the chance to go to an event, like a ball, I’m there like a shot. I love how we all start the evening looking great in our tuxes and tiaras, but by the end of the night our ties are hanging loose and our hair is all over the place.
A super Saturday?
I sometimes find it hard to remember what day it is because I don’t stick to a typical 9 to 5 routine, but when I do realise it’s Saturday I like a cappuccino at Arlo, Jesmond, followed by a drive around Northumberland’s countryside.
We can whisk you away for two dream days. Where would you go?
Cameron House Hotel on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond. I’d go on a champagne boat trip along the Loch and take a sea plane trip to get a birds-eye view of the surrounding countryside.
Memorable mini-break?
Having an evening meal on board the Bateaux Parisian on the river Seine in Paris, renting scooters and travelling around Capri, snorkelling off the island of Gozo, near Malta… there are too many to mention!
Sunday best?
Sitting outside enjoying a cappuccino at Arlo, followed by a walk along the Quayside and ending up in the Free Trade Inn’s beer garden, watching the sun go down.
