Typical Christmas Day routine?
I am an early riser so I get up first on Christmas Day. My kids are older now (16, 22 and 24), so I find myself waking them up on Christmas morning. Later on, my wife cooks a lovely dinner and I always do the dishes.
Any Christmas traditions?
No traditions as such, it’s just a nice day spent with the family. But one thing is for sure – I’m always up for work early on Boxing Day.

Favourite Christmas TV viewing?
I don’t tend to watch much TV at Christmas because I’m usually fast asleep as soon as I sit down – full of food and drink.
Favourite Christmas song?
I’ll have to pass on this one – I’m not really into my Christmas music.
Most memorable Christmas present?
When I was a kid my parents got me a BMX – I thought I was the coolest kid in the street.
Your perfect Christmas dinner?
Everything. I pile it all up on my plate – it’s a day I can really go all out.
The best thing about the festive season?
Getting all the family together – and all the football fixtures that come with it!
