[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If you’re a fan of luxury haircare, then you’ll love the new additions to SHOW Beauty’s range of sumptuous, lock-loving products.
Founded by Tamara Ecclestone (pictured at the brand’s flagship SHOW DRY salon in Notting Hill), the brand is known and loved for its uber-luxe collection of hair styling goodies, from dry shampoo and finishing mists, to oils, texturising sprays, root-lifting lotions and more. The sleek and sexy bottles are so good-looking, they deserve to be displayed on your dressing table – not tucked away in a drawer or in a shower cubicle.
Adding to the decadence, they also smell like crème brûlée (it’s Tamara’s favourite scent – sweet and creamy, without being overpowering or smelling synthetic) and are packed with some really sophisticated ingredients to transform dry, damaged and lacklustre hair in only a few washes. Things like scalp-nourishing pro-vitamins and omegas, conditioning argan oil and botanical extracts.
You can get your hands on them at House of Fraser at intu Metrocentre, where you’ll discover SHOW’s only North East-based Blow Dry & Styling Bar – an opulent little corner where beauty addicts (and their kids) can meet with their very own SHOW Beauty stylist and enjoy the brand’s signature blow-drys (we definitely recommend) and express wash-n-blow services. You can even treat your mane to bespoke braids, or a swish up-do if you fancy it.
And now, just in time for autumn/winter 2016, the brand has released its first range of shampoos, conditioners and hair masks – perfect for those with hair that craves a little TLC during the colder months and all you fabulous folk with diaries full of festive Christmas parties and gatherings. Lather up before you don your gladrags and rock up with show-stopping (and great-smelling) locks.
There’s also a brand new body oil – great for adding a bit of Christmas sparkle – to try out if you like the thought of golden, glistening limbs without that sticky disco-ball look. It’s a beautiful elixir, infused with skin-softening goodies like argan and jojoba oil, aloe vera and vitamin E, and smells super indulgent. Its delicate white musk and Madagascan vanilla scent is feel-good feminine and reminds us of holidays.
Try the Pure Moisture shampoo and conditioner if you’re seeking extra silkiness and hydration; you’ll find ingredients like soy protein and pro-vitamin 5 to strengthen and a blend of caviar (this is a luxury haircare brand, after all!), white truffle and shea butter to smoothen everything out. The treatment mask is also a treat; really intense and indulgent, but without feeling too heavy or greasy. Apply to damp hair, focusing on the ends, and leave for 10 minutes.
The Sublime Repair duo pack a punch if your hair needs restored back to its former glory (if you’re addicted to your straighteners/curling tongs, we’re looking at you!). Quinoa proteins and vitamin E work in harmony to repair damage and strengthen over time and the glossy results, we found, were almost immediate.
There’s a leave-in conditioner, too, which boasts the most wonderful cashmere texture – a thick, buttery consistency – which you must try. Especially if your hair feels a bit frazzled due to heat damage, or is prone to breakage.
Prices start from £28. Look out for the Lux Volume range (there will be a shampoo and conditioner) over the coming months. For more information, take a peek at showbeauty.com
