Matthew & Jordan

Car salesman Matthew Curry and sales manager Jordan Roseberry met seven years ago at their local gym in Durham, where Matthew worked as a personal trainer. Matthew proposed on the beach, during a holiday at Atlantis The Palm Hotel & Resort in Dubai. Jordan still has no idea how he managed to get the ring through customs.

The venue
The couple were married in a church in Durham and had their reception at Hardwick Hall Hotel.

The bride wore
A custom-made gown from Caroline Castigliano in London.

The groom wore
A grey suit, with a blush pink tie to match the bridesmaids’ dresses, from Woven Durham.

The cake
A five-tier creation, made by Christine Clarke. Each layer had a different flavour; lemon, chocolate, Victoria Sponge, fruit cake and toffee.

The transport
Three Rolls-Royces.

Special details
The couple had a carousel at their wedding reception, along with canapés and drinks on the lawn before the main meal. Music was played throughout the day and flowers were by Claire De Lune, Durham.

The honeymoon
The couple flew to Mauritius and Dubai.
